Table Centerpiece Decor

It is winter in the Black Hills of SD and I love to entertain at the lodge, but I don't want to spend a lot nor do I want to have to store a lot of seasonal items.

So, I set my table with burlap I bought at the fabric store for a table cloth. I love the texture and it comes in so many colors. If you feel like it, sew a straight line across each end and make a couple of inches of fringe. When I am done with it, I just roll it back up and store on shelf in the closet.
Then I will go up in the hills on my trusty 4-wheeler and cut some birch branches, pick up some pine cones, cut some pine boughs, add some berries from the craft store, and you have an instant center piece! When I am done with the centerpiece, other than the berries, I burn it in the fireplace.

Then I sit on the couch by the fire, sip a cup of hot tea, read my favorite book and wait for Spring!

LOCATION

WhaT ARE PEOPLE Saying

I knew when I booked things sounded pretty good. Upon arrival my expectations were exceeded five fold. Overwhelmingly peaceful setting allowed me to leave it all behind. Sat on the porch most evenings watching all the whitetail about 100 yards away. Breakfast is unbelievable. Terry is a true gourmet. I did not need to eat daily until 5 pm. We felt like family in a short time. The place is immaculate and I loved the natural swimming hole on site. "
