Before we restored this 1890's stone farmhouse, the window you see was a front door that a pony would come through since it was her stable. There was 16 inches of manure on the floor and a hay feeder on the wall. It is now called the Stable Room, minus the pony and manure!
I now know where the saying “Fools go where angels fear to tread” comes from! Thank heavens we didn’t know all that was ahead of us during the restoration! © High Prairie Life 2017
