Between family, friends and guests I normally have so many people at the Lodge that I like to keep a healthy snack out for people to munch on. I buy the no dye, unsalted pistachios, which I can also use for baking. I have also tried the ones with salt and pepper and they are delicious too! Everyone likes to keep me company in the kitchen as they crack the pistachios open. I keep a dump bowl for the shells and everyone still has room for dinner.

Fennel-Pepper Biscotti’s are delicious! I make these every Fall. My husband love’s them with soup, beer, or in his pocket to munch on when he is hunting. I store them in a brown paper bag!
